PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Boulder Arts Week is Boulder’s only large-scale, inclusive celebration of our community’s vibrant arts and cultural offerings and our city’s thriving creativity. At the core of Boulder’s art scene are the thousands of gifted, Boulder-based musicians, painters, actors, dancers, crafters, sculptors, and artists of all kinds. In order to support and celebrate our artists and arts organizations, the City of Boulder Office of Arts and Culture is offering small sponsorships to enhance their work during The Week.
Special in 2025! We have 6 additional sponsorships available for artists or organizations that would like their project to be considered for implementation during Taste of Pearl in downtown Boulder on April 12, 2-6pm. These projects will be considered for
DETAILS
Total funds: $11,000
Awards:
16 general sponsorships at $500 each for projects that take place anywhere in the city of Boulder; and
6 special sponsorships at $500 for projects to be considered for Taste of Pearl (April 12, 2025, 2-6pm) in downtown Boulder
Details: The award amount of $500. Smaller requests will be accepted.
For use as needed to support an event, program, performance, talk, exhibition, or other arts programming during Boulder Arts Week 2025. Examples of fund use: rent space, frame artwork, promote your event, buy sheet music, hire collaborators, etc. Artists may include their own pay of no more than 20% of the sponsorship.
Applications are first come, first served.
Award Limitations. One award per individual or organization will be awarded each year.
Application opens November 18 for applicants who haven't received a sponsorship in the past. Application opens November 25 to all applicants.
